Dr. William Kofi Darbi holds a Ph.D. in Management with a specialization in Strategic Management from the University of Canterbury and an MSc in International Strategic Management from Staffordshire University. He is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration. His expertise and research interests include but are not limited to the practical and context-specific application of strategic management tools, theories and concepts, and strategy-as-practice. Dr. Darbi is an ardent believer in hands-on practical training which he brings to bear his case-based teaching on the MBA program. He also authored a case for the 2015 edition of the New Zealand Business Case Competition aimed at bridging the academia-industry gap in tertiary business education in New Zealand. Dr. Darbi has attended and presented papers at both academic conferences and practitioner forums in New Zealand, Spain, the USA, and Germany.
